ASU Fire Service Programs are designed to prepare students for managerial and executive duties in federal, state, and local fire departments, and in related fire service industries and organizations.

The goal at ASU is to combine cutting edge technology with the best practices in fire service management and administration. We are committed to offering the highest quality education and learning experience possible.

ASU's Fire Service Programs at the Polytechnic campus offers two degrees and one certificate:

Students have the option of taking courses completely online, in a hybrid format that features a combination of face-to-face and online instruction, or in a traditional classroom setting. Hybrid courses are offered at various locations throughout the State of Arizona. This type of scheduling makes the program easily accessible to those who are on shift work, live in smaller communities, and/or live out of state.

Students learn skills in management, leadership, critical thinking, and communication, which will help them become successful fire service academicians and professionals. Students will benefit from the meaningful relationships the program has with fire service organizations that hire Fire Service Programs graduates.
