ETM Master's Annual Cohort Meeting

Students in the online M.S. program are required to travel to Phoenix for three days each January. At this time, the program requirements and expectations are presented to the cohort, all faculty are introduced, and the use of electronic tools for education and research are explained. Essential concepts and specific "hands-on" activities that could not be easily accomplished with online learning are presented, such as laboratories, soil and groundwater sampling and emergency response incidents. Nationally known keynote speakers provide context and a vision of the future of environmental and emergency management.
