As concern about the environment increases, the need for qualified individuals who can face and conquer environmental and emergency management challenges increases as well.
The Environmental Technology program offers undergraduate and graduate degrees, including:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Technology Management*
- Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) in Emergency Management
- Master of Science in Technology (M.S.)
Students get a hands-on understanding of not only the scientific and technical aspects of controlling environmental pollution, but also the economic, political and legal problems facing managers in today's business climate.
Specialized training also is provided through:
- Office of Environmental Technology (OET), which offers OSHA Hazwoper, RCRA, CAA, and CWA seminars
- ASU Smoke School, which offers training in EPA Method 9 Certification
*The B.S. in Environmental Technology Management is accredited by the National Association of Industrial Technology.
