The solar energy industry is growing rapidly, and the on-going research in the Photovoltaics Reliability Laboratory is helping to predict the lifetime of solar panels in the field.

Students participate in various stages of photovoltaic research, such as accelerated testing, field measurements, physical modeling and statistical modeling.
