Fuel Cell Laboratory

The Fuel Cell laboratory has the ability to produce hydrogen for various applications for fuel cells, and is equipped with state-of-the-art fuel cell analysis tools.
Students pursuing the alternative energy technologies concentration in the electronics engineering technology programs take part in research in this lab, helping to produce efficient and productive fuel cells. For example, students can learn about a new technology called solar-hydrogen cycle on-a-chip, which shrinks what was a large and expensive piece of equipment onto a silicon wafer.
