Financial Aid Counseling for Flight Students
As a part of your secondary admission requirements for the Professional Flight Program, you are required to complete financial aid counseling. The Student Financial Assistance Office at the Polytechnic campus and the Department of Aeronautical Management Technology have developed this counseling to help students understand the additional costs of the flight program and funding options.
We feel it is important for you to have a full understanding of the costs required by the program and what funding options are available BEFORE you begin the program. If you are better prepared and have a funding plan before you begin, then you have a better chance of successfully completing the program.
A detailed list of the complete cost of the program is located in the print tutorial below. Also included are the types of financial aid (including scholarships, grants, loans, and employment), how to apply for financial aid, and how to maintain your eligibility for financial aid.
You need to print the Financial Aid Counseling for Flight Students packet (Microsoft Word format*) and read all six sections. The counseling should take 45-60 minutes to read. You will need to complete a final test after finishing the provided reading.
Send your completed test to:

You may review this information again at any time. All costs listed are costs at the time of development and are subject to change. A resource list of Web sites is included at the end of the counseling.
