Aviation Program Industrial Resource Group
Purpose
The purpose of the Aviation Program Industrial Resource Group is to assist in providing the best possible technical education to our students. Board activities include:
- recommending general changes to the educational program and specific curricula changes based upon industry requirements;
- providing the latest information from industry concerning technological advances;
- assisting in recruiting high quality students;
- assisting the students in seeking employment opportunities by sponsoring internships and industry co-op experiences;
- assisting in locating potential financial assistance through grants, scholarships and endowments;
- assisting in developing support for the Aviation Program, College of Technology & Innovation, ASU’s Polytechnic campus and the aviation industry; and
- working to solve specific problems as requested by the Aviation Program.
