Japanese aviation students are beginning a specialized aviation program as part of a partnership between Oberlin University in Tokyo and Arizona State University.
The Aviation Program offers comprehensive undergraduate and graduate degrees that combine academic studies with professional flight and aviation training.
Degrees include:
- B.S. in Air Traffic Management
- B.S. in Aeronautical Management Technology
- Bachelor of Applied Science
- M.S. in Technology
Students in the program have access to unique educational opportunities, such as:
- Airline Bridge Training, developed with flight provider Mesa Pilot Development and Mesa Air Group, one of the largest regional airlines in the country, to train students seriously interested in becoming professional airline pilots.
- Flight Simulators, giving students hands-on training in simulated aircraft flight.
- Altitude Chamber, providing invaluable experience for students interested in the human factors related to high-altitude activities.
The year-round flying weather in the Valley of the Sun creates the best flying environment in the country. Combine that with programs that stay on the cutting edge of aviation science and technology, and you have a learning experience second to none.
*These programs are accredited by the Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI), formerly the Council on Aviation Accreditation.
