In the College of Technology and Innovation, we are engineering a fresh approach to technical education that covers engineering, engineering technology, technology management, applied sciences and mathematics, and applied psychology. The vibrant new learning environment in the College centers on a polytechnic approach to education, where students are immersed in curricula that include real-world projects in laboratories equipped with cutting-edge technology. The College of Technology and Innovation aims to set the standard for technical education of the new millennium with engineering teaching studios, laboratories, and flexible classrooms—an ideal environment for students to prepare for a future built around technology.
We offer a broad spectrum of undergraduate and graduate programs in engineering and technology, including focus areas such as aviation, computing, electronics, energy, graphics, manufacturing, mechanical systems, and environmental, fire, and operations management. Our dynamic undergraduate and graduate programs are taught by faculty who are experts in their fields, many with extensive experience in industry.
The faculty of the College of Technology and Innovation are extending the frontiers of knowledge through their research on computer modeling and simulation, emergency and environmental management, alternative energies, and many other issues vital to today’s society. We especially value research with immediate application in the real world and, as a result, our projects often lead to new technologies and ideas that benefit industry and the public.
I invite you to explore this Web site to learn more about the programs, faculty, staff and students in the College of Technology and Innovation.
